Vincenzo is the founder and coordinator of the National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir. Started in 2021 during the global pandemic, the all-volunteer ensemble performs annually at the National Flute Association (NFA) convention and other musical events around the United States. The National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir became a permanent performing ensemble of the NFA convention in 2024 and made its first public appearances during WorldPride 2025 in Washington, D.C.
The National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir provides a celebratory space for LGBTQIA+ flutists and allies to come together, perform works composed or arranged by members of our community, and commission new works for flute choir by LGBTQIA+ composers.
The National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir video recordings can be found in chronological order at the bottom of this webpage.
Please contact Vincenzo if you would like to participate in the National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir, write a piece of music for the ensemble, or ask any additional questions.
